Welcome to Shared Values

It is our fundamental belief that all the people in an organization are its underlying strength or underlying weakness. How people deal with each other; the agreements they make and keep; the standards that are established and supported; the values shared: These are the elements at the root of human survival, the elements that hold the key to true success and true sustainable change!

The intended outcome of the journey of Shared Values is an environment within your organization in which employees are both FULLY PRODUCTIVE and TOTALLY SATISFIED. This occurs because the organization recognizes, develops and celebrates the untapped talent and potential of the employees. When employees recognize the organization's commitment to their success, they find a strong emotional link and commitment to the organization and its success. This creates unprecedented business results.

This environment is built by declaring a universal set of People Values that become the standard by which all employees treat each other (and customers). These people values are combined with a set of Business Values. These Business Values describe the behaviors essential to the specific business goals of the organization. They are created by each organization as they begin the process and are used to focus the workforce in the direction necessary for success. A key to sustaining a Shared Values environment is keeping these two separate but equal sets of values in Balance.

Shared Values focuses on a belief that all people have a fundamental desire to do a good job and be a part of a winning team. So when people aren't living up to their potential or fulfilling the organizations' expectations, we believe that is due to some elements in their working environment, or the context in which they are working, as opposed to some inherent flaw in their personality.
